I've had braces for about five months and, hopefully, they should come off in four or five more months. I really didn't want to get braces, as I wasn't keen on the idea of changing something that is naturally part of me and they seemed, and were very uncomfortable. My mother insisted, though, that I get them for supposedly medical purposes. I believe that the problem in question was minor maloclusion, mainly on the left side of my teeth. While I am EXTREMELY excited to be getting my braces off soon, I am very worried about one thing. When my brother and my friend got their braces off, both of their orthodontic corrections were significantly more severe than mine, they had a small permanent retainer, a small wire, put on the back of their front bottom teeth. They both went to the same orthodontic practice as I currently am, and it seems like their orthodontist, Dr. Hutta, simply put the wires on everybody regardless of their situation. I think I'm with another orthodontist at the practice, Dr. Cook. I, for one, am extremely put off by the idea of having something like that on my teeth for years, decades, or possibly my entire life. I've done some research online, and it seems to be that these permanent retainers are simply for patients who might be lacking in diligence to keep using a removable retainer, or have very unstable teeth. I don't want to sound arrogant, but I have been extremely diligent with keeping my rubber bands in, and believe that I would be able to handle a removable retainer. I'll take the rubber bands off right before I eat or brush my teeth, and quickly put them back on as soon as I can. At my first check-up at the Orthodontist after getting the braces, he said that progress had been going swiftly, and that if I kept wearing them like this, I could get the braces off a couple months early. What I want to know is whether I really need a permanent retainer, and if not, if I could use a removable retainer instead. Please tell me anything you'd like, though. Anyone who has knowledge in this area, or has been in a similar situation, please tell me whatever you like! All and any answers are greatly appreciated, thanks!

I have a nissan maxima gle year 2000 engine is still very good getting close to the 150k mile mark and o2 sensors need changing, I need to get myself a new car as my maxima is not such in great shape bodywise kbb values it at $4,000 and up trade in only values it at $2,9xx. Id like to get myself a 2003-2005 honda civic plus open to other gas saver imports I have close to $4k of my own money and im trying to figure out if I should go with selling my maxima myself or trade it in for a car plus the fact I cant buy from private sellers yet since money is not enough what could be some other easier options I can go with? I cant sell the maxima unless I have a guranteed car right after since I have to go to work. Was wondering if I can get possible loans and such. Im a young guy still 19 so that should also play a role in my car buying

I've been weight lifting a lot lately. I'm wondering two things. I have protein bars that I always eat after weightlifting. They seem to help a lot but just to be sure I want to know what specific nutrients I should look for in order to boost my results. If anybody could tell me that would be awesome. My second question is about how much lifting I'm doing. I do 3 sets of: Bench Press 12 reps Ab Crunches (On home gym with weight added, not normal ab crunches) 12 reps Lat Pulldowns 12 reps Bicep Curls 20 reps Tricep Curls 15 reps Dumbell Flys 20 reps I do the biceps, triceps and flys in odd numbers because my dumbell set only can increase by 10 pounds each time you go up weight so I just do more reps on a lower weight. After that I do what I personally call time maxing. I do it for bench, bicep and tricep curls, and dumbell flys. What I do is I put the muscle into an isolated position where its being used to hold up the weight and hold it as long as I can. I do 1 more set for ab crunches and lat pulldowns and I increase the number of reps to 20. After that I do 3 sets of 25 pushups and 3 sets of 25 leg lifts. I'm done once I do all that. It takes me about an hour and a half to do those all and I do it daily and take off on fridays. I've been getting pretty good results but I'm wondering if that routine is good or bad. Is it too much? Or what? I'd really love to know because I'm slightly clueless on that subject. Thanks in advance to anyone that answers. I really appreciate it.

so um. here is the story. it all started in 5th grade when this boy started liking me. he really reallly really liked me. he would text me everyday and all day. he had so much feelings for me. i didn't like him so i kinda messed up and treated him badly cause you know.. i thought he was annoying. anyway, he liked me about until the beginning of 7th grade. now it is the end of 7th grade. my family & his family are very close and my mom is great friends with his parents. he started liking this girl.. in about January. he really likes her. at that point, i didn't care. but it has finally hit me that i miss him. i love him. everyday i go into school and see them like hug and kiss and hold hands and i burst. it literally crushes me. the girl he likes is so rude to me and she hates me. he flirts with me all the time but i know he loves this other girl because he kisses her and texts her and they are practically dating. now here is where i need help.. i love him. i really die every time i see him with her. how do i get him to get feelings for me?? how?! this kid literally is the reason why i go to school everyday! i want to have this kid. i want to be the one he texts everyday and kisses and stuff. i took him liking me for granted and i miss him soo much! This guy isn't like the ordinary guy.. he likes girls for their personality not their looks and their boobs. he doesn't care about prettiness or anything. i wish everything was the way it used to be. pleaasse pleaase help!! can you tell me how i can get it back to the way it was?
